Director
Tony van den Ende is a visionary director, filmmaker and photographer. Recognition taking him on a decades-long musical journey that crossed many different genres and formats through the ’90s and into the new millennium.
Directing era-defining Music Clips that were critically acclaimed and nominated for MTV awards. His high-concept video for The Godfathers, “Birth School Work Death” earned him a nomination for Best Video at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
The Plaudits do not stop there. One particular personal highlight was directing Catherine Deneuve in Paris for the video for “N’Oubliez Jamais” by Joe Cocker.

Tony has directed interviews with famed Superman writer Grant Morrison for DC Comics at Comic-Con San Diego.
An expert on the genesis of music video culture, he has given lectures on video production and the creative process at the Munich University of Television and Film (HFF) and AFDA Cape Town Film School.
